COME RIDE WITH ME

30 Nov – 6 Dec 2026 or 7 – 13 Dec 2026

Seven days on the roads I actually train on:
Canetsfontein, the Cliffhanger trail, Bain's Kloof. I'll be next to you for every one of them. Not sending someone in my place.

📍 Dunstone Estate, Wellington — Cape Winelands

I ride every kilometre with you, eat at the same table, pour the same glass of wine after.
This isn’t a week about watts, intervals or proving how strong you are.

It’s a week on the bike together.

I’ll take you on some of my favourite roads and trails in South Africa, show you places I really love riding, and share the kind of week that makes cycling feel less like training and more like why we started riding in the first place.

We ride. We eat. We have a glass of wine. We probably talk too much about bikes.
A BIT ABOUT ME
Buff - BH MTB Team
I’ve spent most of my adult life racing bikes for a living, but cycling has given me much more than results.

It completely changed my world and shaped the person I am today. It introduced me to people I would never have met, took me to places I would probably never have discovered otherwise, and taught me a lot about myself along the way.

I’m still the kind of rider who takes the front on the last climb of the day, then turns around to check how your legs are doing. Because for me, cycling has never only been about performance.

It makes you stronger, physically and mentally. It creates friendships, opens doors to new places and, most importantly, it’s fun.

And now I want to share a little bit of that world with you.

WHERE
WELLINGTON & THE BOLAND MOUNTAINS:
Vineyards, fynbos, farm roads and mountain passes, some of the most beautiful riding you can find in this part of South Africa.

For this edition, we’ll also have exclusive access to Canetsfontein and the Cliffhanger Trail, two places you wouldn’t normally get to experience on a standard trip here.
“At the South Africa camp, everything was 120% perfect for me.
I didn’t know what to expect and, in the end, I was left speechless by all the amazing experiences I had with you all.🤩“

South Africa Camp 2025
A WEEK, ROUGHLY
NOT EVERY DAY IS A BIG ONE. THAT'S THE POINT.
  • 01: Arrival & a shakeout spin
You land in Cape Town, I get you to Dunstone Estate, we settle in and ride just enough to loosen up and meet each other before the real week starts.
  • 02 - 05: The roads I actually train on
Long days, real climbs: Canetsfontein, the Cliffhanger trail, Bain's Kloof. I set a pace on the front that stretches you without breaking you, then we're off the bike again by early afternoon.
  • 05: Recover like it's part of training. Because it is.
A massage mid-week, the pool, a proper lunch after every ride, getting faster happens on the couch just as much as on the climb.
  • 06: Legs up, glass in hand
A lighter day, then a local wine and olive oil tasting, you're in the Cape Winelands, it'd be rude to just ride past it without tasting the region too.
  • 07: One last dinner, then home
The bikes are packed, the legs are tired, and somehow a group of strangers now feels like a group of close friends.
